Alexandra Cardella is proud to return to her hometown of Windsor, Ontario to practice criminal law with Ducharme Weber LLP. Alexandra was called to the Ontario Bar in 2018 after completing her law degree at the Western University in 2017.
During law school Alexandra focused her studies primarily on Criminal Law with the intention of practicing in the field of Criminal Defence. Alexandra worked as a student case worker at Community Legal Services where she conducted trials and negotiated resolutions for individuals who were charged with criminal offences and denied Legal Aid.
After her first year of studies, Alexandra was hired as a summer student at Ducharme Fox LLP, working in the criminal department under Patrick Ducharme. She continued working during her second year of law school and completed her articles under Patrick.
Today, Alexandra practices in the area of Criminal Defence at Ducharme Weber LLP. She assists Patrick Ducharme and Evan Weber in teaching Criminal Trial Advocacy at the University of Windsor Law School and has the benefit of their knowledge, experience and support as seasoned Criminal Defence lawyers.
Alexandra is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada, and a member of the Ontario Bar Association and the Criminal Lawyers’ Association.
Before attending law school, Alexandra obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Business Management from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
As a Windsor native and community stakeholder, Alexandra takes great pride in offering quality, affordable legal representation to individuals charged with offences under the Criminal Code of Canada and the Provincial Offences Act.
